Please Note : You must be an International member of HOG to join the Brisbane Chapter. The same goes for Associate status.
If you are interested in becoming a Brisbane HOG member there are a few things you need to do
- Own a Harley Davidson Motorcycle
- Hold an open motorcycle license
- Be an International HOG Member
- Become a Provisional member of the Brisbane Chapter
New member information:
To become a FULL member you will need to complete the provisional riders briefing and ride, plus a minimum of 2 club monthly rides and attend 1 club meeting before you can join Brisbane HOG as a full member.
Provisional members will receive a complementary copy of the Club's monthly newsletter - HOGWASH, for 3 months.
You must attend at least one compulsory introduction/orientation ride. All 'Provisional' members meet at the Morgan and Wacker training room (above the work shop) on the Saturday before the monthly ride at 12:00pm for the compulsory provisional monthly Orientation Brief and Ride. Ride safety, group riding techniques and corner marking are discussed before a short practice ride and a social stop for a coffee or cold drink. This is of great assistance to new members by familiarising them with the ride and safety rules of the Brisbane Harley Owners Group.
To help new members become familiar with our group riding and corner marking rules, Brisbane HOG has a 'Provisional' riders group on all of our official monthly rides. This group is led by an experienced club member who wears a green safety vest.
You must ride in the Provisional Group for a total of 3 official monthly rides (ie: your two qualifying rides and the first one as a full member).
The 'Provisional' member's monthly ride registration fee is $5.00. Make sure you register before the start of the ride. If you have not yet submitted your Provisional membership application, you will also need to complete and sign an indemnity form as a visitor.
You will need to bring the Orange card that is part of your Brisbane HOG membership pack to monthly rides and meetings and it must be signed by a Committee member at the ride's goodbye stop and the meeting's end.
You should bring your white membership application form on your last ride or meeting for signing. It must be signed by 2 Full members of Brisbane HOG (other than a Committee Member) who will support your application for full membership.

Membership Costs :
- Full Member fee is $70.00 for the first year (annual renewals are $45 which are discounted if paid by July 31)
- As a Full Member you will receive:
- Brisbane Harley Owners Group membership card
- Club rocker
- Club pin
- Brisbane HOG Year pin
- Name tag
- Access to the Members Area of our website
- Associate Member fee is $25.00
- Associate Members will receive a membership card and year pin. (Year pins are subject to availability)
